Literal Life came about in the late fall of 2009 because I was fortunate to travel to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and provide coverage of the Games for the Globe and Mail. Part of my assignment required blogging for the Globe, something I had never done. So, I quickly joined WordPress to figure it all out! It was also a great way to help my family and friends enjoy the Olympic experience along with me. I knew that, once the Games ended, I would migrate the blog into something else I am truly passionate about – books! Whether reviews, bookish events or news from the publishing industry, I felt this would be a good outlet for writing about these subjects more personally, unrelated to work. I hope you enjoy the site and I thank you for visiting.

  1. Hi Jennifer. I noticed your post on GRs about Sweetness in the Belly. I’d be happy to answer any questions about the book that people might raise. Best wishes, Camilla
